Specialist Support for young people transitioning into adulthood

At Enriched Lives, we support people with learning disabilities to overcome everyday challenges and thrive especially for young people aged 18 – 25 years old during key transitions into adult life.

Safeguarding

Safeguarding is central to everything we do at Enriched Lives. We are committed to protecting service users and staff from abuse and avoidable harm.
Our Registered Manager serves as Safeguarding Lead Officer, ensuring concerns are promptly reported to the local authority and statutory notifications are made to the CQC. We work closely with families, staff, and external agencies during investigations, and any criminal matters are referred to the police without delay. Staff can raise concerns anonymously through our whistleblowing policy.

Incident Management

Incident management is essential to keeping our accommodation safe and responsive. It enables us to identify hazards, respond effectively to incidents, and implement preventative measures. Our specialist team assesses risks, investigates incidents, and supports continuous improvement—ensuring our service remains secure, accountable, and person-centred.

Compliance

Enriched Lives is regularly inspected by the Regulators and our Quality Assurance Team to ensure we meet national care standards. Our Director of Compliance monitors the service and supports the team to maintain high levels of safety, quality, and accountability.

Internal Inspection

We conduct targeted internal inspections at sites identified as being at risk of non-compliance. Our Compliance Inspectors carry out thorough environmental assessments and ongoing monitoring, providing tailored solutions to ensure our facilities meet all legal and regulatory standards.

Compliance Inspectors regularly review our services to ensure all facilities meet national care standards. They provide detailed feedback and practical recommendations, helping us identify areas for improvement and maintain excellence across our provision.

Everyone receives a copy of our complaints procedure at the start of service. We can also signpost to advocacy services if needed.
If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact your Local Authority or the Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman on 0300 061 0614 for free, independent support.
